Our Oilfield Services AMO Team is assembling and testing the latest products of drilling equipment. We collaborate with our service delivery teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools.

Partner with the best

As an ARMO Tech - Electro Mech, you will provide maintenance services to our Drilling Services Team. You will work with best equipment providing relevant solutions on all repair levels. You will learn to identify potential issues and be proactive in applying preventive maintenance.

As an ARMO Tech - Electro Mech, you will be responsible for:

·        Troubleshooting, testing, assembling, disassembling and performing visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies.

·        Performing mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhaul on drilling services equipment to ensure safety and reliability.

·        Reading and interpreting blueprints of wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists to ensure accuracy and quality.

·        Working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices and Quality standards.

·        Ensuring maintenance activities are carried out accordingly and safely to ensure compliance requirements.

·        Identifying and communicating technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.

·        Providing coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.

To be successful in this role you will:

·        Have a technical associate or above in Electrical or Mechanical field. 

·        Have 3+ years maintenance related experience in industries such as airline/military/oilfield/automotive/electronic with excellent mechanical aptitude (soldering electronic components/reading engineering diagrams, etc.)

·        Have experience of working in a production, operation, assembly or maintenance environment. Good problem-solving, process improvement and analytical skills.

·        Be familiar with multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers and other measurement and gauging equipment and processes.

·        Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude and a keen desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills.

·        Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and Chinese.

·        Be able to be flexible with working patterns and shift rotations.

Skills Required

  • Technical associate or above in Electrical or Mechanical field
