As a Workshop Mechanic, you will be providing high-quality maintenance services to our customers at their field locations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects and develop innovations. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral part in our business.
As a Workshop Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that all HSE procedures are followed at location and participate in all pre job/ toolbox meetings.
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance as per Base requirement on equipment
- Assisting in rig-up of equipment during function testing in the yard and with workshop activities
- Operating and maintaining equipment for pre-commissioning projects both offshore and onshore facilities under instruction from supervisor.
- Inspecting equipment prior to operation at site and safely rig up equipment as per operating procedures at site.
- Ensuring that maintenance and site procedures are followed on all work scopes and record performance data
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have technical diploma or 7+ year’s maintenance related experience in heavy duty diesel engines, liquid nitrogen pumps, liquid pumps (centrifugal/ reciprocating), air compressors, air boosters etc.
- Have proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
- Have an extensive knowledge and expertise pre-commissioning equipment and ability to troubleshoot faults.
- Have an advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems and computer skills
- Salary range: AUD 90,000 - AUD130,000
