Security Watch, Inc. is hiring Armed Security Officers for a federal security services contract supporting the U.S. Army Engineer District Galveston at the Fort Point Reservation. This position requires candidates to meet federal security guard qualification standards before employment.

Applicant Qualification Checklist
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for employment:
Skills Required
- Be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent; effective English communication, verbal and written
- Minimum two years experience in civilian law enforcement, military law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security guard services
- Able to obtain or possess Texas Level III commissioned security officer license and complete State of Texas Security Commission Course
- Firearms qualification and training with a 9mm firearm or equivalent, meeting federal and Texas firearms requirements
- Successful completion of federal security screening (SF-85P, fingerprint FD-258, SWG Form 579, Galveston County criminal history, NACI when applicable)
- Medical qualification documented via Certification of Medical Examination (Standard Form 78) by a licensed physician; in good general health
- Vision binocular and correctable to 20/20; not colorblind; hearing able to hear normal conversation at 20 feet and whispered at 10 feet without aids
- Meet height and weight standards per Galveston District Guard Manual and comply with ongoing monitoring and compliance periods
- Maintain professional grooming standards and wear contractor-provided uniform while on duty
- Work on-site at the U.S. Army Engineer District Galveston headquarters, Fort Point Reservation, Galveston, Texas
- Meet federal security guard qualification standards prior to employment
