As an IEP Meeting Facilitator at AIM, you will:
Empower Students: Prepare, schedule and facilitate IEP meetings, ensuring alignment with local/state/federal guidelines.
Documentation Expertise: Collaborate with stakeholders to effectively maintain IEP documents, using district technology applications, while ensuring compliance and confidentiality in students special education records.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate and communicate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance all elements of the individualized education program for students with disabilities.
Professional Development: Provide and attend professional development opportunities related to job functions. This may include coaching/modeling exceptional IEP facilitation standards for other education professionals. Keep informed and comply with campus, local, state and federal regulations and policy.
Minimum Qualifications
Licenses: Valid DL; Texas Teaching Certificate with Special Education
Language Skills: Monolingual or Bilingual
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
Experience Preferred
Minimum five years special education teaching experience; IEP meeting preparation and attendance
Knowledge of current best practices in special education and exemplary professional communication. Standards-Based Individualized Education Program Process Training is preferred.

It stands for Assessment Intervention & Management; the three things we do best. We provide contract school psychologists (LSSPs), speech pathologists, occupational therapists, counselors, special education coordinators, behavioral therapists, and other essential special education staff. Our team provides services to over forty five school districts and charter schools across south Texas. We help also help out private schools, universities, government facilities, and private organizations.
