Role: Architect - Platform

Experience Level: 8 Years and Above 

Work location: Trivandrum

What you’ll do:  

You will be working as a Platform Architect within the healthcare domain, designing and delivering projects that are running across multiple geographies, helping healthcare organizations achieve their business goals with use of  data ingestion technologies, cloud services & DevOps. You will be working with Architects from other specialties such as Data engineering, Software engineering, ML engineering to create platforms, solutions and applications that cater to latest trends in the healthcare industry such as digital diagnosis, software as a medical product, AI marketplace, amongst others.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver automation software required for building & improving the functionality, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications and cloud platforms

• Champion and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and mindset

• Design, architect, and build self-service, self-healing, synthetic monitoring and alerting platform and tools

• Automate the development and test automation processes through CI/CD pipeline (Git, Jenkins,SonarQube, Artifactory, Docker containers)

• Build container hosting-platform using Kubernetes

• Introduce new cloud technologies, tools; processes to keep innovating in the commerce area to drive greater business value.

• Serve as a mentor or guide for senior resources / team leads. 

• Lead the technical discussion regarding architecture designing and troubleshooting with the clients and provide solutions proactively as required. Fluent in communication

Must have skills:

• 8+ years of IT experience in data-driven or AI technology products

• Thorough understanding and proficiency in deploying and maintaining Cloud based infrastructure services (AWS, GCP, Azure –  good hands-on experience in at least one of them preferably GCP) 

• Fair understanding of data transformation, migration, security, and governance, cloud infrastructure, networking, automation, and CI/CD, MVC frameworks.

• Develop and deliver automation software required for building & improving the functionality, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications and cloud platforms

• Introduce new cloud technologies, tools; processes to keep innovating in the commerce area  to drive greater business value. 

• Experience in decision science tools and techniques will be an added advantage. 

• Well versed with service-oriented architecture, cloud-based web services architecture, design patterns and frameworks. 

• Good knowledge of cloud related services like compute, storage, network, messaging (Eg SNS,SQS) and  automation (Eg. CFT/Terraform). 

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.. 

• Experience in systems management/automation tools (Puppet/Chef/Ansible, Terraform) 

• Strong Linux System Admin Experience with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 

• Hands-on experience with languages (Bash/Python/Core Java) 

Good to have skills:

• Experience integrating solutions in a multi-region environment 

  • Reporting tool exposure (at least one of Power BI, tableau, Looker)

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum/DevOps software development methodologies.

• Provide thought leadership to the team and bring industry best practices to the project.

• Ability to lead technology teams and provide them mentorship / support to accelerate performance. 

• Ability to handle conflicts effectively  by managing internal and external stakeholders

• Experience in leading multiple large projects as well as a deep understanding of Agile developments

• Effective communication with all the stakeholders involved.

• communicate clearly about complex subjects and technical plans with technical and non technical audiences.
