Description:

The Senior Architect, Drupal at Credera shall provide technical leadership for websites, applications, technical implementations, and support new business efforts. This role collaborates with development teams and client stakeholders for the design, development, and deployment of websites, mobile sites, applications, and CRM integrations in an effort to exceed the needs of our customers.  Architects are motivated self-starter, able to change directions quickly when priorities shift and quickly think through problem to design and deliver solutions.  They possess the ability to remain confident and influential when interacting with management and leadership in discussing complex solutions, status reports and project deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct a technical architecture of multiple solutions fitting client’s industry standards, use cases, strategy and technical needs
  • Work with technical leads to design a solution that optimally utilizes Acquia tools and supports clients use cases, strategy and industry standards
  • Break down the customer's strategies into phased roadmaps according to customer priorities, industry best practices and technology prerequisites and dependencies
  • Align roadmap phases to executable use cases
  • Contribute to customer’s digital marketing strategies based on industry best practices
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to customers for maximizing their digital marketing effectiveness.
  • Use the latest best practice learning from the industry to help customers ensure their marketing campaigns and solutions are fully integrated and fine-tuned via data driven insights
  • Assist with defining digital marketing solution and consulting scope during sales cycle 
  • Progress overall maturity and scale of Consulting Practice by creating and sharing knowledge in the form of whitepapers, best practices, methodologies, templates, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Acquia Certifications:
    • Acquia Certified Drupal Site Builder - Drupal 9+ 
    • Plus 2 or more: Acquia Certified Developer, Back End Specialist, Cloud Pro, Site Factory Pro, Personalization, Campaign Studio Marketer..etc.
    • Acquia Triple Certified Drupal Expert (Highly desired, but not required)
  • 8+ years overall IT experience with 3+ years of experience as a Drupal Technical / Solutions Architect.
  • Experience in Architectural Design, Technical Roadmap & Solution Documentation leveraging best practices and various Architecture Diagram Models
  • Experience in providing solutions and technical architecture for medium to large websites using Drupal 8/9+.
  • Experience in building scalable, reliable systems and re-usable components.
  • Experience building flexible content structures and leveraging Drupal’s taxonomy system, Views module, and content types to manage content effectively
  • Experience with PHP, Symfony and the Drupal API across Drupal extensive module ecosystem.
  • Experience integrating Drupal with various third-party services, APIs, and other open-source tools, often using custom modules or contributed modules from the Drupal community.
  • Experience working within the Drupal ecosystem, using tools like Drush, Composer, and various Drupal distributions.
  • Experience leveraging LAMP stack & LNMP stacks for open source Web Applications
  • Experience on Drupal Multisite, Multi-lingual, REST APIs, Caching Mechanism, Forms API, Javascript API including all common APIs provided by Drupal 8/9+
  • Experience with Acquia CLI / BLT & Drupal Shell Commands (Drupal Console & Drush)
  • Experience and understanding of Acquia Drupal Cloud tools and solutions (Acquia Cloud, Site Studio, Site Factory)
  • Experience and understanding of Acquia DXP/Marketing Cloud solutions (CDP, Convert / Personalization, Monsido, DAM, Campaign Studio) a nice to have.
  • Experience with taxonomy, performance tuning, optimizing, data configurations and a solid understanding the latest trends in UI. 
  • Experience working with onsite / near shore / offshore project and development team to ensure smooth execution and team success for project milestones.
  • Experience working in a consultancy firm with excellent client-facing, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to perform Peer and off-line code reviews. 
  • Ability to manage and present Proof-of-Concept and complex solutions to Technical and Non-Technical audiences. 
  • Ability to support pre-sales team with business proposals and project estimates. 
  • Ability to provide ongoing support, maintenance engagements, practice initiatives and assist with ad-hoc projects as needed. 
  • Ability to travel 33% of time as necessary. 
  • Ability to work within the US without limitations. 
  • Ability to work in office 3+ days per week.

Compensation:

The salary range listed is for informational purposes. Credera treats all applicants as individuals taking into consideration but not limited to their professional and academic experience, specialized training, certifications and associated responsibilities as it relates to our specific industry. The salary range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for each unique employee. An estimated base salary of $170K – $185K plus a variable component is anticipated for this role in the US.

Hybrid Work Model:

Our employees have the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. We expect our team members to spend 3 days per week in person with the flexibility to choose the days and times that work best for both them and their project or internal teams. This could be at a Credera office or at the client site. You'll work closely with your project team to align on how you balance both the flexibility that we want to provide with the connection of being together to produce amazing results for our clients.

Travel:

Our goal is to keep out-of-market travel to a minimum and most projects do not require significant travel. While certain projects can require frequent travel (up to 80% for a period), our average travel percentage over a year for team members is typically between 10-30%. We try to take a personal approach to travel. You will submit your travel preferences which our staffing teams will take into account when aligning you to a role.
