About the Role

The Boomi Architect / Consultant is a senior leader within the Integration Consulting Practice, responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing integration solutions for client organizations. The role will provide technical architectural direction across multiple projects while leading a small team of developers in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

In addition to technical delivery, the position supports business growth through client-facing engagements, presentations, and contributions to RFP responses. This is a highly client-focused role, requiring strong stakeholder management skills, adaptability, and the ability to balance competing priorities.

This role will also operate as the 2IC, providing significant opportunities to further develop your skills and elevate your career.

Key Responsibilities 

• Partner with the Executive team to align strategy with vendor roadmaps, support project resourcing, and drive growth through pre-sales engagement, client presentations, RFP/SoW responses, thought leadership, and vendor events.
• Lead integration projects and teams, manage workloads and priorities, assess technical requests, and provide stakeholder updates.
• Define and deliver integration strategy and architecture, provide hands-on development, guide best practices in API-led/event-driven solutions, drive improvements, and leverage expertise in integration technologies (e.g., .NET/Azure, Java).
• Develop API standards and assessments, design and implement cloud integrations, and deliver architectural reviews, vendor evaluations, and prototypes.
• Build CI/CD pipelines on platforms like Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins, and support test-driven development and UAT environment setup.
• Mentor and upskill teams, promote best practices, and advance expertise in emerging integration and cloud technologies while contributing to vendor programs and service innovation.

What You’ll Bring 

• Proven practice leadership and management experience.
• Certification in relevant technology (Boomi).
• Pre-sales experience and client engagement skills.
• Successful track record in Integration/API design projects.
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture projects.
• Proven experience on Boomi projects.
• 8+ years as an Integration Architect or Senior Developer.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD platforms.
