About the Role
The AR Specialist communicates with customers regarding billing, payments, and other related questions, ensuring that financial targets for the organization are maintained. The best candidate for the position is comfortable talking regularly on the phone with customers, with strong problem solving and collaboration skills. This position will be located onsite at our offices in San Diego or Dallas.
How you will make an impact:
In this role, you’ll:
- Manage and maintain customer accounts receivable
- Make daily collection and payment status calls
- Answer incoming customer calls and troubleshoot customer issues
- Uncover and resolve billing/payment issues in a timely manner
- Work with operations and customer support departments to resolve customer disputes

Skills and experience you have:
You don’t need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable/collections experience

Pay Transparency
At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The expected hourly pay rate for this role is $24.00 to $26.00, based on your experience, skills, and geographic location.
