Job Description
Variant scope of responsibilities:

Talent sourcing & Relationship building
-
Own and manage the building of relationships, mainly with emerging artists
-
Source new talents and pitch Believe offers
-
Conduct outreach to higher classified artists and business partners under guidance from senior A&R staff
-
Deal making, negotiation and signing
-
Perform basic artist potential and performance forecast analysis for emerging & mid-level talents
-
Support the negotiations of deal conditions with producers in compliance with defined AS Business Rules and real customer needs (supported by senior A&R)
-
Own and lead the advance / option / contract processes for emerging and mid-level artist deals including their validation and signing on new business deals up to renewals

Creative process & Artistic development
-
Coordinate with artists and production teams to support creative projects leveraging innovation, best practices and experimentation

Provide logistical and strategic guidance in artistic development activities for emerging and mid-levels artists and support for higher-classified artists (with support of senior A&R staff)

Market & content insights
-
Analyze audience and market data to support A&R decision-making
-
Produce reports on genre trends and artist performance to support AS business development strategy
-
Onboarding & transition management
-
Facilitate the onboarding process by preparing documentation and coordinating meetings
-
Support the transition of newly signed artists/producers to the Serve team (marketing & account management) for ongoing management
Qualifications
Required competencies:
-
Hard skills
-
Good understanding of the music industry value chain principle, contracts, and rights

Ability to conduct market and artist data analysis (capturing emerging market patterns)

Ability to identify promising new talents and run basic sales / negotiation discussions

Can perform budgeting and financial forecasting simple analysis

Ability to tailor artist development strategies (audience growth leveraging platforms features and reach)

Soft skills
-
Effective interpersonal/communication and relationship-building skills
-
Organized and detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities and resilience in dynamic settings
Required experience & qualifications:
-
1-2 years of experience in the music industry, preferably in an A&R or similar role

Basic knowledge of genre-specific trends and market developments
-
Proficient in English / Other language(s) is a plus
