Job Description

The candidate will be responsible to work with a team of financial advisors and staff to help provide outstanding service to our clients. It will assist in managing and organizing office workflow with an emphasis on creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates advisor practices. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.

This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.

Accountabilities:

- Assist APWG advisors and CSAs in servicing clients including preparing basic financial plans, conducting investment research and completing trades and transactions (Money movement, new account opening, etc.) as described by the advisor

- Prepare and summarize client meetings by scheduling and confirming meetings, create the agenda and summary of meetings and provide necessary follow-up

- Prepare and ensure new business paperwork successfully submitted which includes preparing forms, obtain appropriate signatures, prepare documentation to send to home office, track new insurance/ annuity applications and coordinate rollovers

- Prepare for and coordinate marketing events which includes creating marketing compliance documentation

- Provide general administrative duties such as answering the advisors phone, process expense management reports, prepare routine client correspondence, set up of client files, copy and new business correspondence and alerts

- Assist advisors in increasing their social media presence (Facebook & LinkedIn) with relevant and timely updates

- Help clients in enrolling/ servicing on various Ameriprise tools

Required:

- Willingness to go for licensing certifications as needed (SERIES 7 and possibly also for State Securities, State IAR, State Insurance)

- Willing to work evening hours: 8:00 pm to 4:30 am (9:30am to 6pm CST)

- Good communication skills- Basic understanding of MS power point, MS Excel and MS Word

- Must have an eye to detail with high accuracy levels

- Ability to meet strict timelines per the agreed SLAs for advisor practices

Preferred:

- Exposure to financial products like mutual funds, insurance, retirement plans, financial planning, etc. would be an added advantage

- Experience of interacting with advisors or U.S business partners will be preferred

Our employees work in the office at least three (3) days per week, with flexibility to work from home two (2) days per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
