Job Responsibilities:
Your Responsibilities:
  • Incorporates customer requirements into program APQP plan and assures requirements are cascaded to components APQP plan.
  • Utilize the tools of APQP (PPAP, FMEA's, control plans, capability studies).
  • Ensure that the requirements of the Control Plan are being fulfilled
  • Develops and manages a program specific quality plan on each new program.
  • Drives PDP elements for Quality deliverables as associated with the PDP process including MSA, appearance boundary standard, customer PPAP, MSA, special characteristics agreement, control plans, safe launch plan and AAR.
  • Ensure product type approval homolgation
  • Definition of gauges nedded for the project, concept of gauges and agreement with customer
  • Design validation plan; managment of samples and testing laboratory internal and external, maintenance of validation plan, presentation of results to customer
  • Reports all Advance Quality Planning activities to customer periodically through APQP meetings.
  • Analyzes product quality problems and proposes solutions.
  • Develops and maintains statistics (Sigma, Pp/Ppk, Cp/Cpk, Gage R&R, etc) on all significant part and process characteristics.
  • Provides quality requirements for Outside Mirrors
  • Develops prototype control plan; collects and analyzes pilot build data.
  • Prepares pre-production sample report, submits to customer upon request for approval.
  • Develops and executes program safe launch plan with quality plant personnel.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of Design and Process FMEA's (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
  • Provides quality/warranty concerns to team by reviewing lessons learned, warranty performance, and ensures additions to the DFMEA.
  • Conducts surrogate process capability studies to support product dimensional capability.
  • Supports plant by assisting or facilitating PSO and PPAP activities
  • Keeps good quality plan records and informs program team of timely execution.
  • Lead resolution of discrepancies to drive PPAP to full status, on-time.
  • Develop customer boundary book approval and obtains plant and customer agreement and signoff.
  • Coordinates APQP/PDP activities with Desgin Engineering, Process engineering, Craftsmanship, SQA group, and the customer where appropriate.
  • Supports Internal / External Audit efforts regarding ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949 Certification

Who we are looking for:
  • University graduate (technical/economical field)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in same or similar role in automotive industry
  • Advanced user of MS Office and SAP
  • Experience with APQP / preserial projects preffered
  • Good English communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written and technical presentations
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure

Your preferred qualifications:
  • Knowledge of statistics and production quality systems
  • Demonstrated successful performance with independent problem solving and presentations
  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications
  • Strong presentation skills to fulfill customer and internal leadership program status updates
