Trainee is part of Mobile Infrastructure business group who is leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3500 patent families essential for 5G and 6G MI has a strong portfolio and is a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks.
- As a part of Radio Access Network R&D L2 SW team in Massy, you will be responsible for developing the software features of Nokia 5G /6G base stations which are then delivered to all our customers worldwide
- Contribute to the development of these features within a team for the L2 layer (packet scheduler) and you will be part of a team working in Agile/Scrum mode and coached by a tutor
- Ramp-up on radio protocols and C++ during several months
- Perform coding tasks associated to L2 features assigned to your team. It comprises unitary tests, code reviews, component tests, etc.
- You are responsible for your deliveries done in a continuous integration environment (GIT, GERRIT, Jenkins, Zuul). AI assistants help on daily tasks.
- Education in Engineering school specialized in Telecommunications and/or programming
- Interest in radio communication protocols
- Basic knowledge of C++
- Interest in AI tools adoption and good use of prompt engineering.
- Good English level and good skills in communication and presentation
- Ready to work in a team in daily and close collaboration.
