Role Overview:
The Visual Design Experience Apprentice supports Fortrea’s employer branding initiatives by creating high quality visual, multimedia, and digital design assets that bring our employer brand to life.
This role is designed for early career creatives with foundational training in visual communication, design, or media, who are keen to apply their craft in a real-world business context, while learning how design influences talent attraction, storytelling, and brand perception.
Apprenticeship Assignment Summary:
Visual Design & Creative Execution
- Design visual assets for employer branding campaigns, including:
- Social media creatives
- Digital campaign assets
- Presentations and internal communication materials
- Ensure all designs align with Fortrea’s brand guidelines and visual identity
- Support creation of design systems and templates for consistency
Multimedia & Content Creation
Assist in creating rich media content such as:
- Short videos (MP4 formats)
- Motion graphics
- Visual storytelling content for campaigns
- Support editing of video, audio, or multimedia content where required
- Contribute to ideas for visual storytelling formats
Campaign & Collaboration
- Work closely with Employer Branding, Marketing and content teams to understand briefs and translate them into effective visual output
- Support campaign execution through timely and high-quality design delivery
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and iterate designs effectively
Design Research & Innovation
- Stay updated on design trends, formats, and digital behaviours relevant to early talent and professional audiences
- Support benchmarking of competitor and industry design approaches
- Bring fresh, relevant, and creative ideas to improve design quality
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in visual communication, Graphic Design, Media, or related field
Experience (Minimum Required):
- 6–11 months experience (internship, freelance, or other projects)
- Strong knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Exposure in Any multimedia tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, etc.)
Competencies:
- Exposure to:
- Video editing, multimedia creation, or podcasts
- Content design, storytelling, or digital campaigns
- Experience delivering projects via:
- Academic coursework
- Freelance assignments
- Personal or portfolio projects
- Ability to present a creative portfolio showcasing design capabilities
