Role Overview
The Apprentice QA Engineer at SAGEA will assist in testing and validating AI systems, pipelines, and experimental models under supervision. This is a learning-focused apprenticeship where you will gain hands-on exposure to model evaluation, data workflows, and deployment practices while contributing to the reliability of our systems.
What You Will Do
Execute test plans for AI models and supporting pipelines
Assist in validating data processing, preprocessing, and ETL workflows
Help identify bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues
Work with QA and research engineers to maintain reproducibility of experiments
Support automation of basic tests and documentation of results
Learn QA best practices for AI research and deployment
What We Are Looking For
Basic programming skills (Python preferred)
Interest in AI, machine learning, or software quality
Detail-oriented and methodical in testing and validation
Willingness to learn from hands-on experience in a research-focused environment
