We are hiring an Applications Engineering Technologist to join our Newark, Bellevue team.

Your key responsibilities:

• Support research and application teams in carrying out experiments for product development.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to support R&D testing.
• Collect, review, and summarize data with application engineers.
• Support new method development for lab experimentation with scientists and engineers and generate and maintain SOPs.
• Open to flexible working tasks, may rotate through various roles and responsibilities to meet team needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering or related field.
• Previous experience working in a lab environment and knowledge of general chemical safety protocols and PPE.
• Collaborative problem solving, strong attention to detail, and safety-oriented attitude.
• Team-oriented, strong communication skills, and highly motivated to solve problems through a variety of tasks.
• Knowledge in laboratory method development, method validation and statistical analysis.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry and/or in process development.
• Previous experience operating analytical equipment, particularly SEM
