You will use your extensive subject matter expertise by creating business opportunities through identifying new applications for existing product and technology related to Automatic identification and Data collection technologies.  You will promote new business in conjunction with Sales and help design-in opportunities by working with Honeywell partners.  You will identify customers’ needs and support them though our products to develop a solution that meets the customers statement of work.

This also includes working with external customers, sales, product managers and the engineering team to create demand for our products and technologies. Duties include liaising with various stakeholders, building a New Product Introduction (NPI) pipeline, and helping to prioritize the pipeline having the biggest business impact.
 

Responsibilities

•    Working with customers to present product capabilities and identify hardware and software solutions related to Battery Thermal sensors.
•    Participating in the large opportunities (enterprise and government) as technology advisor from demand creation to execution for enterprise solutions including rugged mobility, RFID, Rugged Tablets, Industrial scanners, Network / wireless Printings etc.
•    Developing technical articles, RFP’s, compliances, and collaterals such as installation instructions, application notes, technical bulletins, and white paper for our customers when needed.
•    Providing strong technical support on proposal / RFQ efforts for large opportunities.
•    Managing the opportunity funnel with sellers and driving activity based on top priorities.
•    Promoting Voice of Customer (VOC) discussions to comprehend goals and needs of customers.
•    Aggregating customer needs and helping to develop the roadmap for next generation products with the help of Honeywell Engineering.
•    Determines and develops approach to customer solutions in alignment with the integration of Honeywell products and services.
•    Working closely with the product manager, customers, and engineering to define product vision and winning solutions.
•    Participating in the NPI process from demand creation through product launch.
•    Participating in quality investigations and root cause analysis.
•    Will manage team of solution architects in country and team roll up quota.
•    Travel – approximately 50%
 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma of Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, or Software Engineering.
•    8+ years working experience in AIDC Industry with 6 years+ working experience in IT Industry.
•    Proven track record in handling large customers and complex solutions.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with significant experience as solution architect or sales engineering roles.
•    Effectively communicate with and influence key stakeholders across the enterprise, at all levels of organizations.
•    Work in an agile environment and evaluate pre-project ideas in terms of technical complexity, solution architecture, and estimated effort.
