Job Summary
Senior JD Edwards OMW Developer responsible for advanced development, integrations, and full object lifecycle management. Strong focus on OMW, BSFN, Orchestrator (AIS), and BSSV (Business Services) to enable scalable integrations, automation, and enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Development & Technical Design
Develop complex objects using FDA, RDA, Table Design, NER & C BSFN
Design reusable and scalable technical solutions
Work on Event Rules (ER) and advanced business logic implementation
Perform deep debugging using JDE logs, server logs, AIS logs
OMW & Object Lifecycle Management
Manage OMW projects, object promotions, merges, and retrofits
Handle object compare, spec merge conflicts, and version control
Ensure smooth object migration across DV / PY / PD
Perform impact analysis for package deployments
Orchestrator & AIS Integration (JDE 9.2)
Build and manage:
Orchestrations
Service Requests
Rules & Notifications
Work with AIS Server, REST APIs, JSON payloads
Handle error handling, retries, and orchestration logging
Secure integrations using roles and token-based authentication
BSSV (Business Services) Development
Design and develop BSSV services for real-time integrations
Create and consume SOAP / REST-based web services
Work with Published Business Services (PBSSV) and Internal Business Services (IBSSV)
Handle JAXB mappings, XML schemas (XSD), WSDL generation
Deploy and manage BSSV in WebLogic Server
Troubleshoot BSSV logs, server issues, and service failures
Integrate JDE with external systems (SAP, third-party apps, middleware)
Performance Tuning & Optimization
Optimize UBEs, BSFN, and SQL queries
Improve performance of BSSV and Orchestrations
Work on indexing, table design, and execution plans
Identify and fix long-running jobs / memory issues
CNC Coordination & Architecture
Work with CNC on:
Package builds & deployments
ESUs & Tools releases
WebLogic, AIS, and BSSV server configuration
Understand JDE multi-tier architecture
Production Support & RCA
Handle critical P1/P2 incidents
Perform cross-layer troubleshooting (JDE + WebLogic + AIS + BSSV)
Drive root cause analysis and permanent fixes
Documentation & Governance
Prepare TDDs, integration design docs, and release notes
Ensure compliance with coding standards, audit, and security
Required Technical Skills
Strong expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2
Deep knowledge of:
OMW, FDA, RDA, ER, NER, C BSFN
Table Design & Data Dictionary
Hands-on experience in:
