Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic and challenging environment where you will act as a software detective. Your typical day will involve identifying and resolving issues within various components of critical business systems, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate with different teams to provide solutions and enhance system performance, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Skillset:
AEM Platforms: AEM 6.x, AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
Backend: Java, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR (Oak), Maven
Frontend: ReactJS, Sightly, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Client Libraries
AEM Features: Core Components, Editable Templates, Workflows, DAM, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, Headless AEM (GraphQL)
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Responsibilities:
Strong experience with AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service
Solid understanding of AEM workflows, JCR, Oak
Proficiency in Java, Apache Sling, OSGi. Experience with HTL (Sightly)
Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, dialogs, and client libraries
Develop Sling Models, OSGi services, and workflows, Analyze legacy AEM code and refactor it for AEMaaCS compatibility
Support content and asset migration using Adobe tools (e.g., Content Transfer Tool)
Collaborate on Dispatcher/CDN configuration for AEMaaCS
Nice to Have
Experience with SPA Editor / ReactJS
Knowledge of Adobe I/O and Headless AEM
Experience with AEM modernization tools
DevOps exposure (Git, Maven, CI/CD)
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
