M9 Solutions is seeking an Application Support Engineer to work on-site in support of a government contract for a client located in Arnold, MO. An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of customer application and monitoring/investigation of segment interfaces.
- Under the direction of the client Site Lead, this role is responsible for working with on-site database and system administration support personnel to convey and investigate system anomalies.
- Additional responsibilities to include investigation into operational issues and performing problem escalation with vendor, factory, on-site and east coast based Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- TS/SCI security with polygraph clearance.
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of work experience or 8+ years of direct experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 4 - 8 years of experience in a systems administration or operational support role.
- Working knowledge of networks, network infrastructure, and common components.
- Understand principles of SQL query language.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal are required.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment and be self-motivated.
- Current Security+ Certification.
- Have previous experience with LINUX based operating systems.
- Previous System Administrator experience.
- Willing to work in a 24x7 operational environment on the day shift or the night shift.
