Job Description

Role: Application Support Engineer

Location: Eagan, MN

Job description:

Ø Unix or Linux Hardware and Application Support.

Ø Windows 2003, 2008 R2, 2012 Hardware and Application Support

Ø Incident, Change, and Problem Management Support

Ø Experience with Incident Management Tools such as Service Manager or Service Now

Ø Knowledge and support of Tomcat/Java applications

Ø Knowledge and Support of Oracle and MSSQL Databases

Ø Knowledge and Support of IBM Websphere MQ

Ø Knowledge and Support of Network Storage Systems (NAS, SAN)

Ø Experience with DNS, Networks, F5 BIGip

Ø Experience working Application and System Architects in the development systems and applications

Ø Experience with Deployment/Configuration tools such as Jenkins

Ø Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously (ie Hardware/OS refreshs)

Ø Knowledge and Experience with Software Deployment Lifecycle concepts and application

Ø Experience writing technical knowledge (ie Runbooks, Work Instructions)

Ø Experience working with monitoring tools such as Nagious / SiteScope / GVI

Ø Experience in Automation development

Ø Experience in developing/using reporting tools and creating reports

Ø Familiarity with Oracle Databases

Ø Experience providing 24x7 On-call Support.

Ø Familiarity with Oracle Databases

Ø Experience with web-based Java/J2EE architectures
