Summary: As an MS SQL DBA , resource will be responsible for overall SQL Database Administration with complete infrastructure management, ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system. To proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime. Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of DB. Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases. Working knowledge on Database architecture, Database Backup & Restore, DB maintenance, Handling BAU activities. Perform many related database functions, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for application support. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Administration. - Strong understanding of database management and optimization techniques. - Experience with troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues. - Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for SQL Server databases. - Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration. - This position is based at our Noida office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
