As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. Roles & Responsibilities:
Leading requirement-gathering workshops and translating business needs into functional design specifications across supply chain planning domains.
Independently configuring, testing, and validating supply chain planning application modules including demand, supply, inventory.
Coordinating with client IT and business teams to ensure solution alignment and managing open items through to resolution.
Reviewing and owning functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and traceability matrices.
Providing functional guidance to analysts on the team and supporting their day-to-day delivery activities.
Contributing to knowledge management, best practices documentation, and internal capability building.
Professional & Technical Skills:
5–8 years of working-level exposure across multiple modules or planning domains within Supply Chain Planning applications
Hands-on configuration experience across two or more planning domains such as demand planning, supply planning, production scheduling, inventory optimization.
Experience with integration between planning applications and ERP or MDM systems.
Proficiency in data to support solution validation and performance measurement.
Familiarity with cloud-based architecture, SaaS deployment models, and platform administration tasks.
Understanding of supply chain KPIs, planning metrics, and performance benchmarking frameworks.
Proven ability to manage workstreams and deliver quality outputs independently
Strong structured thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to design practical solutions to complex planning challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to client stakeholders.
Collaborative team player with a demonstrated ability to support and guide junior colleagues.
Proactive approach to identifying risks and issues and driving them to resolution.
