Founded in Hong Kong in 2016 by the French couple Delphine Lefay and Diego Dultzin Lacoste, OnTheList is a leading premium flash sales concept in Asia and the Middle-East. OnTheList works to minimize the problem of excess stock by turning past-season inventory into sustainable opportunities. OnTheList works directly with retail brands and official distributors, turning old inventory into opportunity by providing a sustainable way for brands to sell past-season items that would have otherwise ended up in landfills, while providing the best deals and steep discounts to our OnTheList members. Since launching in Hong Kong in 2016, OnTheList has hosted over 5,200 flash sales and has built a community of over 1.3 million members across all regions. We’ve since expanded to Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Korea, Shanghai, Beijing, Thailand, and Dubai.

WHAT WE WILL TRUST YOU WITH... 

• Own the Level 2 (L2) support for internal business applications, operational systems, and third-party integrations across APAC. 

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents escalated by the Regional IT Operations (L1) team through root cause analysis and effective technical solutions. 

• Develop, maintain, and enhance internal applications, operational tools, automations, and system integrations to improve business operations. 

• Work closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support application configuration, deployment, maintenance, and integration issues. 

• Monitor application performance and system health, proactively identifying opportunities to improve stability, reliability, and operational efficiency. 

• Collaborate with Software Engineers and cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements, resolve product defects, and support new feature releases. 

• Maintain technical documentation, knowledge base, and troubleshooting procedures while providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing to the Regional IT Operations team. 

WHAT IT TAKES… 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.  

• 5+ years of experience supporting business applications, internal systems, or SaaS platforms.  

• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for application, database, API, and integration-related issues.  

• Solid hands-on development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript technologies and frameworks, including React, Next.js, React Native, NestJS, and Node.js.  

• Solid experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL integration is required.  

• Hands-on experience with AWS services and deploying or maintaining production applications on AWS.  

• Experience in e-commerce with a strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem, including hands-on experience in Shopify app development and system integrations.  

• Experience supporting retail and e-commerce systems such as POS, payment terminals, payment gateways, Shopify, CRM, WMS, ERP, and third-party system integrations is an advantage.  

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with IT Operations, Engineering, business teams, and external vendors.  

• Excellent written and spoken English and Cantonese.
