Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Application Engineer specializing in Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) to support customers in the adoption and effective use of simulation and analysis solutions. The role involves providing technical support, conducting simulations, developing design methodologies, and working closely with sales, product development, and customer engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Customer Engagement
Provide technical support to customers on SI/PI simulation tools and methodologies.
Assist customers in resolving complex design challenges related to high-speed digital systems.
Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concept studies, and technical presentations.
Conduct customer training sessions and workshops.
Simulation & Analysis
Perform Signal Integrity analysis including:
Reflection and crosstalk analysis
Eye diagram analysis
Channel compliance testing
Timing analysis
Perform Power Integrity analysis including:
PDN impedance analysis
Decoupling capacitor optimization
IR drop analysis
Power delivery network verification
Analyze high-speed interfaces such as PCIe,DDR4/DDR5, USB, Ethernet & SerDes
Application Development
Develop simulation workflows and best-practice methodologies.
Create technical documentation, application notes, and training materials.
Collaborate with R&D teams to enhance product capabilities based on customer feedback.
Pre-Sales Support
Support sales teams during customer evaluations.
Assist in technical proposals and solution recommendations.
Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and technical events.
Requirements
Education
B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech in ECE, EEE or related disciplines
Technical Skills
Understanding of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity concepts.
Knowledge of transmission line theory and electromagnetic fundamentals.
Familiarity with high-speed PCB design.
Experience with one or more SI/PI tools like Ansys HFSS, Ansys SIwave, Cadence Sigrity, Keysight ADS,CST Studio Suite
Understanding of PCB stack-up design and routing practices.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python is desirable.
Skills Required
- B.E., B.Tech., M.E., or M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline
- Understanding of signal integrity and power integrity concepts
