To develop further our customer base, ensure their success and to pursue new activities in the EMEA region, we are looking to grow our team of Application Scientists in Munich.
Your responsibilities
- Engage in technical discussions with new customers to develop our business related to scaling up quantum computing.
- Ensure application-specific customer success.
- Nurture an active network in the quantum computing community.
- Represent Zurich Instruments at trade shows and community-specific conferences.
- Understand technical requirements from customers and communicate to product management and RnD.
Your profile
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a similar field, ideally related to quantum computing research.
- Practical lab experience, including programming of scientific experiments.
- Experience in sales and business development in academic and industrial markets is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; fluency in English is a must.
- Understanding of different layers in the quantum stack, including connectivity to high-performance computing is a plus.
