Modernization Lead: Lead modernization initiatives by re-architecting legacy systems using Java, applying modern software design principles and AWS-based architecture patterns. Drive end-to-end modernization efforts, including re-architecture, refactoring of legacy systems, and cloud migration strategies. Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering best practices in code quality, design, testing, and deployment. Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to structure systems aligned with core business domains, ensuring modular and maintainable solutions. Design and implement scalable, decoupled services leveraging AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, and Oralce/RDS. Drive system decomposition, refactoring, and migration planning with a clear understanding of system interdependencies and data flows. Promote infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD automation, and observability practices to ensure system reliability, performance, and operational readiness.
