As the Alerton Application Engineering Manager in the Building Automation Americas division here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of technical subject matter experts serving the Alerton dealer channel in USA and Canada. You will play a crucial role enabling Alerton dealers to adopt new products, services and tools, helping drive sales growth and improving customer satisfaction wrt Technical Support and Technical Training.  
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by leading improvements to our Technical Support, Training and Applications Engineering functions by leveraging Honeywell’s Global Design Models. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality New Product Introductions, represent voice of the customer in internal prioritization decisions and enable the success of our Sales team.  
 

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage a team of application engineers to deliver high quality solutions to customers
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality New Product Introductions
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application engineering processes and capabilities
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE 

  • 8+ years of experience in Technical Support, Applications Engineering or related roles
  • Strong technical background in building management systems, HVAC control systems and field devices
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills  
  • Proven people leadership skills and ability to build and leverage relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of Alerton products and dealer channel
