Analog Devices is looking for an intelligent and versatile Application Engineer to join our RF Semiconductors team, based in Istanbul, Turkey, who will be responsible for our RF Switches, Attenuators, Amplifiers, and MCM RF Front-End products for various markets. The position involves work with highly motivated product development, marketing and design teams where you will contribute to developing and supporting RF products.

Context on the role:

As an Application Engineer, you will perform a full range of product development activities including, but not limited to: 

Job Duties:

  • Schematic and PCB layout for demo boards, reference designs for customers, also including generation of User Guide.
  • Evaluation of products and application scenarios using bench equipment.
  • Creation of new product datasheets, specific information for customers, application notes
  • Participation in customer visits to assists sales staff in assessing potential application of products to meet customer needs.
  • Support of customer development activities from evaluation to design-in
  • Support of customer return activities and report on design, reliability and maintenance problems

Requirements*:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Familiarity in test equipment and RF measurement techniques
  • Basic knowledge in EM simulation tools and principles is a major plus
  • Motivated, results oriented and organized engineer with good writing, presentation and overall communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn something new quickly
  • Comfortable taking calculated risks
  • Innately curious with a desire to understand the business model, operations, financial structure for the organization
  • Has a bias for action and works in collaboration with others to deliver results
  • High tolerance for ambiguity
