Qnity Interconnect Solutions (ICS) (formally a DuPont business) is focused on becoming a preferred partner for customers seeking materials-based solutions to enable market leading technologies utilizing a combination of materials to solve complex challenges in a multi-industrial vertical supply chain ecosystem. Advanced Flexible Technologies (AFT) is a business under ICS. Our broad technology base allows us to address complex performance requirements and offer a wide range of products, including Kapton® and Oasis® polyimide films and Pyralux® flexible circuit materials.
AFT is seeking a technical expert to support the Qnity AFT business unit in managing large, strategic accounts and developing new opportunities with leading global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). The successful candidate will work closely with Account Managers, Sales, Marketing, Product Managers, and other AFT support functions to strengthen relationships with customers and identify their needs. Moreover, the candidate will work closely with business development and marketing to provide a voice of the customer regarding product performance and expected attributes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to project planning, defining technical objectives, and business growth
- Assist in prototyping, lab work, and hands-on testing of products
- Identify, develop, and deliver solutions that allow AFT to capture value and meet customer needs
- Gain a deep understanding of customer processes and Qnity product and service offerings
- Manage all aspects of the technology processes related to AFT products and services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electronics
- Demonstrated technical proficiency, the ability to build customer relationships and business development experience are essential.
- Ability to use one's initiative, effective time management skills, and result orientation.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of learning agility with the ability to adapt and learn new materials, applications, and processes.
- Excellent communication skills for global communication in English and the ability to lead a team of peers (which will often include other functions in Qnity, customer, and OEM personnel) are essential.
- Demonstrated laboratory and hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- At least three years' experience in designing high-voltage electric machines is also preferred.
- Experience in the electronics industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with SalesForce.com or other CRM systems is a plus.
Location & Travel:
- We prefer the candidate to be based at the Qnity office in the Circleville Plant, but we will also consider other Qnity offices/locations.
- The candidate will need to have the ability and willingness to travel for business purposes, around 40% of the time.
