Responsibilities

  • Planning, conducting and evaluating application-related test series in the laboratory

  • Characterizing the products obtained using various analytical methods

  • Documenting and presenting the results obtained

  • Developing application solutions for our customers

  • Assessing the suitability of new raw materials and products in customer formulations

  • Supporting our production and quality departments in the event of complaints and when approving new raw materials

  • Supervision of application-related training for internal and external customers

Requirements

  • Successfully completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory assistant, paint laboratory assistant or comparable technical training with subsequent further training as a technician or master

  • Several years of experience in the field of polymer chemistry, particularly in the formulation and application-related testing of casting resins as well as adhesives and sealants or comparable products

  • Experience with customer-related tasks/products, in particular innovative, creative solution finding, with practical implementation

  • Good knowledge of and compliance with ESHQ-regulations for assessing the hazard potential of substances and performing all work

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office

  • Very good written and spoken German and English

  • Responsible, reliable team player with a structured, independent way of working and good communication skills, also beyond the team
