Job Description

The Application Development Intern will work closely with senior developers to design and implement new features, gaining hands-on experience with Workday modules and integration tools. You'll contribute to enhancing team productivity, improving Workday reports, and creating solutions that align with business needs, all while actively participating in requirement reviews and development discussions.

The intern will be based in our Downers Grove, IL office.

Key Accountabilities

  • Understand functional requirements and participate in requirement reviews.

  • Provide feedback to management

  • Work with senior developers to design and develop new features

  • Stay apprised of development tasks and presentation of solutions within your team

  • Gain exposure to Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Benefits

  • Gain exposure to Workday reports and enhance to meet business needs

  • Enhance Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and other integration tools.

  • Contribute ideas for continually improving the team's productivity.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Currently pursuing their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week over the Summer

The Salary Range: $16.20 - $22.00/hr.
