The Opportunity
As an Application Development intern, you will help create solutions that are vital to the company’s success. As an intern, you will gain experience doing challenging work in a collaborative and friendly environment through an internship program that allows you to receive guidance from experienced peers.
Job Responsibilities
- Assists in the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains application programs
- Contributes to the development of project plans and timelines
- Provides estimates for planned work
- Establish an open relationship with customers, teammates, and other members of the Annuity Group IT organization
- Work with other team members and mentor(s) to find creative solutions to business challenges, through the use of technology.
- Consults with business partners and/or other IT Professionals to resolve production issues.
- Maintain and develop business knowledge and customer relationships.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Entering at least 2nd year of higher education pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes in priorities.
- Customer-service focus and quality orientation
- Self-motivated, takes initiative, and passionate about learning/trying new technologies.
- Sense of personal accountability.
Ideal Qualifications
- .Net or C# programming experience
