Description
The successful candidate will work as an Applications Developer supporting the CITS contract for USCENTCOM. They will Implement security and access controls within all maintained software to meet current requirements and future data-centricity objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Develop, test, and implement SharePoint customizations
· Enforce automated standardization of Directorate web/portal pages with Command-level pages
· Maintain a full inventory of developed applications, with requirements traceability and POCs
· Make recommendations to the Government to eliminate capability redundancies or sunset applications based on changing requirements
· Applies software patches, STIGs, new releases, configuration changes, and cybersecurity directives and within mandated timelines
· Applies system fix actions, remediations, or countermeasures to close any identified
· Vulnerability
· Authors, reviews, edits, publishes, and maintains operational, administrative, security documentation, and POA&Ms within DoD policies and within mandated timelines
Required Qualifications
· Top Secret w/SCI Eligibility
· Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials (GSEC) certification
· Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity computer science, information system engineering, or related technical discipline in cybersecurity or information technology, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training and work experience
· 5+ Years of combined experience
Highly Desired Qualifications/Experience
· Knowledge of Windows OS, VMware, Dell Isilon, McAfee security suite, Content Manager, Control Point, and Active Navigation. Not required but a plus if you possess any/all of skillsets
· Past CENTCOM/SOCOM IT support
