Job Description: 

We are seeking a motivated Application Developer to build software capabilities that help analysts access, understand, and address complex mission challenges. In this role, you will collaborate directly with mission stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to understand operational needs and transform them into end-to-end technical solutions deployed within the customer’s enterprise environment. The ideal candidate for this position will be a versatile software developer with strong Python, Java, familiarity with mission data repositories and analytic platforms, and an interest in applying modern data science, machine learning (ML), and AI technologies to improve analyst workflows. Required Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
  • A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and eight (8) years of relevant experience is required. Also acceptable are a Doctoral degree (PHD) and four (4) years, a Master of Science (M.S.) degree and six (6) years, or an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree and ten (10) years of experience.
  • Strong software development experience using Python, Java, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with PySpark and processing large or distributed datasets.
  • Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch and Git-based source code repositories.
  • Experience developing applications that integrate front-end interfaces, back-end services, and enterprise data sources.
  • Knowledge of customer enterprise architecture, mission data flows, corporate tools, and data repositories.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with analyst workflows.
  • Experience developing and optimizing database queries.
  • Experience working with data science and machine learning technologies.
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI), generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Experience integrating data science or ML models into production applications.
