What you can expect
As an Application Detection Engineer at Zoom, you'll collaborate with security and engineering teams to identify and analyze application-level threats and vulnerabilities. You will help to discover and onboard application log sources with detection values and create high-fidelity detection content.
About the Team
Zoom's Detection and Response (D&R) organization includes Threat Detection & Analytics Engineering, Threat Intel, SOC, Incident Response, and Security Monitoring and Logging teams. The Threat Detection & Analytics team is responsible for ensuring the security of Zoom's applications by identifying, assessing, and detecting application-level threats and vulnerabilities.
What we're looking for

• Have a solid understanding of application security concepts, including OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities.
• Have knowledge of security architecture of applications and services deployed to on-premise and cloud environments.
• Experience in creating detection content (eg. in Splunk).
• Experience with scripting/programming (Python, Bash, Java, Scala, etc.).
• Have knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) groups and their commonly used Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), as well as MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Minimum:
$106,500.00
Maximum:
$197,000.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
