Job Description
Position Summary:
We are looking for a professional with great enthusiasm and engagement for a position of Application Consultant at Rockwell Automation in Brazil.
In this role you will report to the Application Consultant Manager, Brazil and will be part of a highly skilled pre-sales team responsible for addressing our customer´s needs with the proper solution from our portfolio and best strategy for their systems lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities:
Propose technical solutions for process control and safety systems for the Oil & Gas market, using Rockwell Automation products (hardware and software), partners (Encompass), and third parties.
Develop, recommend, and defend solutions and strategies based on the analysis of the client’s business objectives and needs, the added value of the proposed technical solution, and the portfolio of products and services across Rockwell’s business units.
Define the technical solution for each client need, encompassing automation, instrumentation, electrical architecture, MOM/MES, and digitalization solutions aligned with the process to be controlled.
Leads and executes strategies for selling new annual recurring revenue (ARR) contractual agreements to build customer loyalty and provide an upgraded customer experience.
Support the commercial strategy for each opportunity, aligned with business objectives.
Ensure that all necessary and sufficient information for proposal preparation and revisions is available to the Proposals team, performing and/or supporting critical analyses (risk, cash flow, boundary conditions, etc.) and securing the required approvals in accordance with established processes.
Create and document success cases to guide and train the sales team in identifying similar opportunities.
Monitor the opportunity pipeline and drive engagement within the organization.
Be responsible for achieving the order intake targets under their scope.
Identify and develop new scopes of supply and partners in target markets to increase participation and client engagement in a safe manner for the company.
Introduce and disseminate new applicable technologies in target markets, preparing the department to support them, and when applicable, participate in structuring and training efforts for these new technologies.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Engineering (Automation & Control, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field), completed or currently in the final stages of completion.
5+ years of experience in executing industrial automation projects or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in the sales cycle of industrial automation systems or equivalent.
Advanced English.
Experience in applications for Oil & Gas and/or petrochemical industries.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
Intermediate/Advanced Spanish.
Experience with Process Safety Systems.
