As an Application Architect, your primary responsibility will be providing technical delivery leadership for client projects, which includes leading and managing enterprise and mid-market projects, as well as supporting technical pre-sales activities when needed. You will design solution architecture, assist with defining solution requirements, and ensure all team members follow established processes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with and learn the latest Microsoft solutions in a fun and engaging work environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead application architecture, assisting with requirement definition, and ensuring processes are followed by all members of the project team
- Work closely with various team members and project managers to understand and manage project delivery expectations
- Create functional design specifications and implementation plans
- Provide architecture review, and project milestone sessions for project sponsors
- Delegate responsibilities and priorities to development staff
- Ensure project delivery processes are in place and being executed, providing technical oversight for assigned project
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Passion for learning new skills and technologies and staying updated with the latest trends and best practices
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 12 years of experience in a corporate environment
- 5 years of experience designing service-oriented architectures, using cloud providers such as Azure, and hands-on experience writing code such as C#
- 4 years of experience designing database systems for applications (SQL Preferred)
- 1 year of experience with distributed systems and designing microservices
- Expertise and experience in implementing cloud-based SaaS and/or PaaS solutions
- Proven and demonstrated experience designing, architecting, leading development and deployment of multiple enterprise solutions
- Strong desire to solve hard technical problems, and proven ability to do so with little or no direct daily supervision
