The Role

As an Application/Software Architect, you'll be responsible for designing cutting-edge software frameworks, systems, and products that will set the standard for the industry. You'll use your extensive technical knowledge to conceive system interfaces and business application prototypes, while also identifying and resolving any framework design weaknesses.
You’ll use your technical expertise to provide technical leadership to the application development team, perform design and code reviews, and ensure that uniform enterprise-wide application design standards are maintained. You'll also collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that the architecture is aligned with business requirements, making sure that the project meets its goals.
Your expertise in designing major aspects of the architecture of an application, including components such as user interface, middleware, and infrastructure, will be put to use as you create and maintain documentation surrounding the software architecture, application design processes, component integration, testing guidelines, and other key elements.

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Integration Architect to lead the design and governance of mission-critical integrations between SAP and Mainframe systems. This role will define architectural standards, propose automation solutions, and ensure seamless, secure, and high-performing connectivity across hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud).
Required Technical and Professional Experience

Location - Hybrid/São Paulo

• Define and own the end-to-end integration architecture between SAP and Mainframe platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Propose and implement automation strategies to optimize workflows and reduce manual interventions.
• Govern critical integrations, including design principles, monitoring, and incident management.
• Partner with agile squads to drive innovation and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Design and implement integration solutions using SAP PI/PO and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Develop and maintain hybrid on-prem/cloud integration patterns with strong focus on security, compliance, and performance.
• Establish and enforce best practices for authentication, encryption, and performance optimization.

Technical and Professional Experience

• Strong experience in SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI integration design.
• Hands-on expertise with Mainframe systems: COBOL, Natural, ADABAS, JCL.
• Knowledge of SAP functional modules (FI/CO, MM) and their integration points.
• Proven track record in hybrid on-prem/cloud architectures, automation, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
