Job Overview:
The Apps Content and Operations Manager will play a crucial role in executing strategy and owning daily operations of our apps marketplace - including e.l.f. App, TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop, and other emerging marketplaces. This role will require collaboration with our Apps Strategy Lead, Cross functional Digital and Creative teams to ensure the successful briefing, execution, and management of content that resonates with our audience and acquisition, engagement, and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Execution:
- Assist in developing and executing the overall strategy for beauty marketplace apps and social media channels.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform content strategy and operational improvements.
Day-to-Day Operations:
- Manage daily operations of the e.l.f. Beauty app and social commerce channels, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
- Oversee content briefing, scheduling, publishing, and performance tracking across all platforms.
Collaboration with Creative Teams:
- Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling content that aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
- Provide clear briefs and feedback to ensure that creative outputs meet strategic objectives and timelines.
Marketplace Expansion:
- Identify opportunities for expansion into new marketplaces and social commerce platforms.
- Develop and implement operational plans for new channels, including onboarding processes and content strategies.
Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of content and operational strategies.
- Report findings and insights to stakeholders, making recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in content management, operations, or digital marketing, preferably within the beauty or consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, social media platforms, and e-commerce best practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Creative mindset with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in analytics tools and social media management software.
