We are looking for an APD Processor, you’ll play a critical role in enforcing the fundamental fairness on which our company was founded. You’ll be supporting one of the largest teams within the company by allowing them to be highly efficient in their roles. Our goal is to leverage technology, data, and a team of highly talented people to build a claims experience that is recognized as number 1 in the industry.
Root is a “work where it works best” company. This means we will support you working in whatever location that works best for you across the US.
Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000
Responsibilities
- Dispatch various claim assignments including estimates, supplements, diminished value, fixed property and specialty claims
- Route claims to third party vendors for in person inspection(s)
- Support APD team with various projects and duties
- Complete all other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
Qualifications/ Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in an office environment
- High school diploma/GED required
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Communicates and collaborates effectively in a matrixed environment
- Ability to handle ambiguity and quickly adapt when changes occur
- Able and willing to follow company policies and procedures
- Ability to approach problems with an open mind
- Flexibility and comfortable handling multiple different tasks at once
