The AP Process Excellence Lead is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for driving process excellence across the Asia Pacific region. This role leads process governance, design, and stewardship across any SAP S/4HANA stream (e.g., Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report), ensuring alignment with global templates and business transformation goals.
The successful candidate will act as a functional expert and change agent, supporting digital transformation initiatives, SAP implementations, and continuous improvement projects. This role suits candidates with strong business consulting experience, cross-functional business acumen, and a passion for process transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Governance & Design
- Serve as the regional process steward for SAP S/4HANA streams, ensuring adherence to global templates and governance standards.
- Lead process mapping, blueprinting, and gap analysis across business functions.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to design scalable, efficient, and compliant business processes.
- Drive adoption of analytics and automation tools (e.g., PowerBI, SAP Analytics Cloud, FIORI, RPA) to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Support data governance and reporting standardization across the region.
- Project & Change Management
- Lead regional projects and change initiatives related to SAP implementations, process redesigns, and business transformations.
- Develop and execute change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, training, and communication.
- Manage Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement leadership.
- Enterprise Growth Enablement
- Support enterprise growth strategies including business model shifts such as omni-channel integration and eCommerce enablement.
- Collaborate with commercial, IT, and digital teams to design and implement integrated solutions across B2B and B2C channels.
- Ensure SAP processes and data structures support scalable digital commerce platforms, customer experience enhancements, and supply chain responsiveness.
- Process Stewardship & Enablement
- Act as a process owner and advocate for best practices across business units.
- Develop and mentor Superusers and process champions in SAP and analytics tools.
- Support business development and solution design teams in expanding SAP capabilities and roadmap planning.
- Identify and prioritize regional process improvement opportunities in collaboration with business unit leaders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in business process management, SAP implementations, or digital transformation.
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA (superuser or implementation lead) across one or more streams.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, or commercial operations in a multinational environment.
- Business consulting experience highly desirable.
- Experience supporting omni-channel strategies and eCommerce integration preferred.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (PowerBI, SAC) and automation technologies (RPA).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Formal qualifications in Business, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred.
