APAC Payroll Manager l, City Storage Systems - Makati City

What you’ll do

• Lead and ensure compliance with end-to-end payroll processes across the APAC region, including payroll data verification and administration.
• Maintain payroll records, including changes in salary/wages, pension, insurance, mandatory deductions, new hires, terminations, and leaves of absence. Track vacation, sick leave, and other employee time-off as needed.
• Respond to employee inquiries on payroll matters, company policies, and procedures, providing clear guidance and resolution.
• Analyze payroll trends and identify root causes of discrepancies to recommend process improvements and enhance accuracy.
• Build strong relationships with all levels of the APAC organization and collaborate effectively with HR, Finance, Accounting, and third-party providers to resolve issues and optimize payroll processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations within APAC, in compliance with local labor and payroll laws.
• Partner with the regional payroll manager to manage local compliance, audits, and statutory filings.
• Serve as system administrator for Workday Payroll, Ceridian, and ADP or Papaya Global, including configuration, testing, and implementation of payroll functionalities.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance on General Ledger postings, payroll budgeting, and reporting to ensure accurate financial records.

What we’re looking for

• 3-5 years in the domain experience; relevant Work Experience: 5-7 years
• People management experience is required
• Knowledge of ADP
• Knowledge of the general ledger
• Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
• Quick learner and able to apply knowledge learned to future projects
