Business Analysis and Strategy:

  • Participate in business process workshops, identifying opportunities for productivity and efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with business/IT teams like engineering, logistics, commercial and finance teams to understand business challenges and recommend suitable and sustainable solutions.

  • Participate in reviewing designs of the SAP solution and provide recommendations as appropriate

  • Where local development effort is required, manage the design, build and test of the locally managed applications ensuring integration to SAP works seamlessly.
  • Execute integration testing and regression testing to ensure no negative impact on PRODUCTION business due to project activities
  • Support business users with data migration and preparation activities, including orchestrating the legacy system extractions with non-SAP external vendors or IT team as necessary.

3. Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitor the performance of the implemented SAP system in production, ensuring a working product is delivered for the business.
  • Utilize analytics platforms to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production uptime, defect rates, and delivery timelines.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of technical issues and implement solutions promptly to minimize downtime.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Serve as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on improvement initiatives.
  • Create user-friendly documentation, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support to teams using digital systems.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones effectively to leadership and cross-functional teams.

5. Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure compliance to Prysmian’s processes and protocols.
  • Stay updated on best practices and industry changes to effectively support the business needs.

6. Support break-fix of SAP and ensure continuous working product:

  • Responsible for resolving tickets related to SAP issues and updating ServiceNow tickets accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot digital product related issues, collaborating with other analysts to identify root cause and potential resolution.
  • Providing and articulating to end-users, potential workarounds to overcome issues to restore the service while the system fix is being worked on.
