As a AP & AR Assurance Senior Analyst you will be working closely with a group of professionals supporting the Revenue team within Global Finance Organization.
As a AP & AR Assurance Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Performing the Revenue Recognition (Point-in-time and Overtime) Process wing-to-wing guaranteeing completeness, correctness and accuracy, in accordance with external and internal policies;
- Executing Revenue Recognition Validation guaranteeing completeness, correctness and accuracy, in accordance with external and internal policies;
- Carrying out the qualitative analysis of trade AR balances leading to the posting of allowance for doubtful Accounts (Bad Debt Reserve);
- Safeguarding adherence to internal and external policies (Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), US GAAP, etc);
- Discharging change management initiatives in alignment with the overall Baker Hughes strategies and financial objectives;
- Preparing and/or Reviewing and approving accounts reconciliation in Blackline;
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Bachelor's Level in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/ etc).
- Have minimum 4 yr’ experience in Revenue Recognition based on overtime accounting.
- Have good knowledge in Project Accounting module of various ERP’s such as PASCAL, OSCAR & SAP.
- Have experience in revenue recognition and assurance & contract review and validation is required.
- Have a good knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
