Role Overview

As an AP & AR Specialist, you will manage day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payments, and smooth financial workflows. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, and Revenue teams to maintain strong cash management and scalable accounting processes.

This role is ideal for someone highly detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in transactional finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable processes including invoice intake, approvals, and vendor payments
  • Oversee accounts receivable workflows including billing, collections, and customer payment tracking
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper coding of transactions
  • Support reconciliation of AP/AR balances during month-end close
  • Partner with Operations and Partnerships teams to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Monitor payment timelines, outstanding balances, and cash flow indicators
  • Improve AP/AR workflows through automation, documentation, and process optimization
  • Support audit readiness and compliance with internal financial controls
Qualifications

Required

  • 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or accounting operations
  • Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and financial controls
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactions
  • Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills for vendor and customer coordination
Preferred
  • Experience in startups, marketplaces, logistics, or service-based businesses
  • Familiarity with marketplace payment flows, driver payouts, or partner invoicing
  • Experience supporting month-end close and audit processes
  • Passion for building scalable finance operations in high-growth environments
