AP Accountant

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, verify & register purchase invoices, cost invoices, staff expense reports, …
- Research and resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders by working closely with external vendors and internal colleagues
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions (open vendor lines, supplier statement reconciliation)
- Preparing payment batches while monitoring cash for discount opportunities
- Maintain vendor files
- Assist and participate to month-end closing process
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Creation of sales invoices based on shipments to clients
- Reconciliation of incoming client payments
- (Proactive) cash collection activities to ensure on-time payment by clients
- Handle rejected sales invoices in partnership with clients and internal stakeholders
Your Profile
- You have a degree in accounting;
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience with ERP systems;
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders does not scare you off;
- You have a sense of responsibility;
- You are accurate, have an eye for detail, and respect predefined deadlines;
- You are fluent in Polish and English.
