Antiterrorism (AT) Assessor 
K2 Group is seeking an Antiterrorism Assessor in support of Headquarters, Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Provost Marshal/Protection Support Services (PM/PSS).  IMCOM PM/PSS is tasked with ensuring the safety and security of its installations through robust protection plans in the areas of risk management, antiterrorism, physical security, and emergency management, culminating in up to 29 assessments annually.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor, collect, and analyze open-source data, intelligence reports, and security feeds to identify potential terrorist threats, trends, and tactics. Distill complex intelligence into actionable briefs for senior leadership.
  • Lead and execute risk management assessments at global facilities and installations. Conduct rigorous physical inspections of perimeter barriers, access control points, and structural hardening features.
  • Conduct comprehensive Risk Management and Antiterrorism vulnerability assessments of facilities, infrastructure, and operational plans. Identify security gaps and recommend data-driven mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with adjacent security domains, including Physical Security, Emergency Management, and Cybersecurity to ensure a unified protection posture.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating Antiterrorism Plans, Emergency Action Plans, and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
  • Audit and measure local protection programs against strict federal, military, or corporate standards (e.g., DoW, COCOM, Service Component Command). Pinpoint exact regulatory compliance gaps and vulnerabilities.
Requirements
  • 10 years of professional experience in intelligence analysis, antiterrorism programs, physical security analysis, or military/law enforcement operations.
  • Antiterrorism Officer Basic and Advanced Course graduate.
  • Profound understanding of terrorist tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Hands-on experience conducting formal vulnerability or risk assessment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in leveraging risk assessment software, intelligence databases, or analytical tools.
