Job summary
As an Executive Director, Advice and Annuities, in Segmented Services you lead teams that support clients through inbound servicing and advice-related requests, with a focus on annuities and managed account and brokerage relationships. You will set daily operating priorities, strengthen service standards, and partner across functions to deliver strategic initiatives and continuous improvement that enhance the client experience.
Job responsibilities
- Lead advice teams handling inbound client calls; set daily priorities and service standards to drive accurate, timely execution
- Oversee processing across annuity new business (including 1035 exchanges), ongoing servicing, client deepening, and post-issue requests
- Provide product education and consultative support to leaders and clients to help identify appropriate annuity solutions
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for managed account and brokerage relationships; respond to inbound requests and coordinate accurate, on-time processing across enrollments and servicing needs
- Guide clients using a goals-based approach to help them identify solutions they may want to explore
- Partner cross-functionally with senior leaders, advisors, and client service teams to deliver strategic initiatives and support technology adoption
- Monitor execution quality and client experience outcomes; identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and service effectiveness
- Coach and develop team leaders and advisors to strengthen performance, consistency, and client focus
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Valid and active FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses
- If registered after October 1, 2018, valid and active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam
- FINRA Series 9/10 (or equivalent), or ability to obtain within 60 days of starting in the role as a condition of employment
- People leadership and coaching experience, including developing high-performing teams
- Talent acquisition experience, including recruiting and sourcing internal and external candidates
- Experience supporting investment products and services, including annuities, in a client-facing or client-support environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive accurate, timely processing across new business and servicing workflows
