We specialize in developing telecommunication products in collaboration with leading global telecom vendors. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Android Software Engineer to join our development team in creating high-quality, performance-driven applications for the Android platform.
As a key contributor, you will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to design, implement and maintain advanced mobile applications with clean, efficient code and scalable architecture.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK
- Build and optimize mobile app features using Android Studio and Jetpack components
- Apply object-oriented programming and design patterns for robust, maintainable code
- Integrate third-party APIs and external data sources to enable key application features
- Consume RESTful APIs and handle data using JSON for seamless client-server interactions
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and optimization to ensure high-quality releases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Contribute to application architecture, technical documentation, and best practices
- Support deployment processes and assist with issue resolution post-release
- Stay current with evolving mobile technologies and trends in Android development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communications Technologies, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 3+ years of professional experience in Android application development
- Proficiency in Kotlin and a strong understanding of the native Android SDK
- Solid foundation in core computer science concepts such as algorithms, data structures, and OOP
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and remote data integration
- Strong familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle, and modern build tools
- Working knowledge of Java and best coding practices for Android
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
