Job Overview:

We are looking for strong Android Developer with Kotlin skill for a top notch OEM company in Europe.

What You'll Do:

  • Design & Develop: Create and maintain top-notch apps and framework components for in-vehicle applications.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Innovate: Use your creativity to enhance user experience with animations and 2D graphics programming.
  • Plan: Organize development tasks using Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning.
  • Code Excellence: Write, review, and maintain production-quality code with a focus on best practices and design patterns.
  • Debug & Test: Perform thorough debugging and unit testing (manual and automated) to ensure robustness.
  • Mentor: Share your knowledge and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of learning and growth.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience:
    • Mandatory: Proven track record in Android app development with at least two published apps on the Google Play Store. (Please provide links, and be prepared to discuss your specific contributions to these apps in detail.)
    • Preferred: Experience in automotive infotainment or web software development.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Mandatory:
      • Expert-level skills in Android Programming and Kotlin (minimum 3 years of hands-on experience).
      • Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOPS concepts, and design patterns.
      • Proficiency in designing and consuming SOAP/REST-based interfaces.
      • Extensive experience with version control systems like GIT/SVN (minimum 2 years).
    • Preferred:
      • Knowledge in animation and 2D graphics programming in Android.
      • Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Mandatory: A proactive team player with excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a passion for mentoring and collaborating.
    • Preferred: Previous experience in a mentoring role or leading a small team.
  • Verification: Be prepared to undergo a technical assessment and code review as part of the interview process.
